Queenstown is a geographically condensed town with an efficient bus network - as well as terrible parking, narrow roads and widespread confusion over roundabout etiquette.
Fortunately our $2 bus network covers Queenstown and Arrowtown, with the #1 bus running every 15 minutes along the main route. As July school holidays are the busiest time of the year, we recommend skipping the rental car and choosing the bus instead. There’s free wifi, heating and bus stops are easily accessible from our preferred accommodation options.
When booking your conference ticket, there is an optional ‘Go-Card’ preloaded with bus travel - just jump on at the airport when you check in with the COATE Conference Team and GO!
